The Enterprise Storage workgroup is working with the consolidated storage array vendor to better position the array for future vision and accessibility into other storage arrays. This should speed up the migration of data into the consolidated model.
The Enterprise Storage workgroup is currently working on a brief questionnaire that will be sent to all backup/recovery vendors. Once responses are received from the vendors the workgroup can begin to narrow the field and to make a final recommendation. The workgroups plans to finalize and distritube the questionnaire in approximately 2 weeks.
