The Enterprise Storage workgroup is continuing with the migration of data from older storage arrays to the new consolidated storage array. We are working with the Server Virtualization workgroup to identify and prioritize in-scope agencies to plan out virtual server and storage migrations to be performed together.
Data security and retention policies are currently being investigated to help determine the needs for all data so it can be migrated and stored in adherence to current policies.
The Enterprise Storage workgroup continues with research of backup/recovery offerings in hope of having recommendations by the end of the year. Backup/recovery vendor presentations will conclude this month.
